Auckland Maths Coach

We are growing and we are looking for great people who reside in Auckland to become professional maths coaches.

There are some essential and required character traits for being a great maths coach:

• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• A passion for working with children in an encouraging and positive way
• A focus on children's learning and engagement to give them the very best learning experience
• A strong understanding of mathematics and experience teaching children maths
• An ability to speak in front of an audience of school-aged children with confidence
• Reliable, able to work without supervision, punctual and have excellent organisation skills and personal presentation
• Own your own vehicle & possess a current restricted or full driver's license.

If successful in gaining this role, we will provide full training through our maths training program. We will provide you will all the resources you need to coach successfully. This role primarily involves coaching at schools with children aged between 6-12 years old. We will allocate classes to you typically less than 20km from your home.

The role is flexible so you can choose the hours that you work and the number of classes you undertake so you can work your schedule around your study periods. You will also become part of a group of professional maths coaches that meet regularly and share ideas and resources. The Classes are 1 to 1.5 hours long and can be arranged around your timetable.

You will be required to complete a police clearance as required by the Vulnerable Children Act 2014.
